par OlivierSerait-ce finalement et étonnamment le meilleur article sur le portage que nous avons eu la possibilité de lire hier sur le blog du Monde, par Clara Georges ? [lien vers l'article]
Si on met de côté le choix calendaire un peu facile de la narration de type pré-électorale, qui consiste quelque mois avant une élection à rédiger tout article « lifestyle » en y appliquant un antagonisme gauche VS droite quelque soit le sujet, cet article est peut-être l’un des écrits vulgarisateurs et destiné au grand public finalement le plus emblématique de la présence de l’écharpe de portage dans « la vie des français ».
Il est vrai qu’à la première lecture j’ai pu me sentir offensé et blessé de voir la pratique du portage qui est au centre de mon activité depuis 10 ans et plus spécifiquement le nom même de l’entreprise que j’ai co-fondée avec mon épouse comme un sujet de raillerie.
Alors bien entendu, dans les premières minutes qui suivent la lecture, j’ai eu mes projets et scenari de vengeance masquée ultra-violente qui se sont dessinés dans ma tête, puis ça s’est atténué assez vite et ma raison a pu reprendre le dessus et une fois passée l’émotion des premières minutes, j’ai pu enfin me demander :
« mais que révèle cet article ? »
Déjà je réalise vite, même si c’est évident, que cet article n’est pas écrit spécifiquement à destination du public visé par les écharpes de portage et n’est donc pas là pour lui plaire. Il est donc prévisible que les lecteurs faisant partie du public jeunes parents/portage aient pu avoir à juste titre un recul bien moindre et se soient sentis peut-être même agressés, à la différence du lecteur qui s’en fout tout simplement des porte-bébés et qui veut juste lire un article divertissant alors qu’il est dans le bus ou en position assise en train de faire vous savez quoi en lisant sur son mobile.
Je peux comprendre que pour intéresser ceux qui ne sont pas ou plus parents de nourrissons, il faille épicer ce sujet pour eux si lointain d’un peu de subversion, de 2eme degré et un poil d’agressivité pour que l’article soit tout simplement lu et partagé parmi la marée de contenus web quotidiens.
Aussi, je post-rationalise en me disant qu’il s’agit d’un article de blog, sur l’édition numérique du magazine M, ce n’est pas un article de fond imprimé dans le célèbre quotidien. Cela laisse donc plus de liberté rédactionnelle et pourquoi pas un peu d’insolence, après tout nous sommes en 2016.
Mais surtout, en cherchant les autres articles de l’auteure [lien], je découvre que les autres articles de la série « objets de l’Epoque » sont sur l’e-mail, le pain au chocolat, le détecteur de fumée, le café, les calories, … Il y a aussi des articles sur la basket, le selfie … Et c’est en cela que je vois en cette série d’articles la vraie reconnaissance de la place de l’écharpe de portage dans le monde « civil », et pas juste celui des parents.
Nous aurions pu être aux côté d’objets comme la perche à selfie ou « la barbe de hipster », mais non, L’écharpe de portage est bel et bien avec de vrais objets et concepts utiles et tangibles qui accompagnent notre quotidien et j’en suis très fier, pour mon ego et pour les centaines de milliers de familles concernées.
Alors oui quand on devient mainstream on sort de notre zone de confort de se voir dans son miroir et dans celui de ses utilisateurs de niche, mais c’est le jeu et je réalise que moi aussi il m’arrive de me distraire à la lecture d’un article insolent sur un sujet qui ne me concerne pas.
Pour moi c’est bel et bien un vrai article sur le portage, avec certes un traitement qui peut être acide et moqueur, mais qui mentionne néanmoins les points clefs de praticité et de sécurité liés à l’écharpe de portage. Si cet article vous irrite, ce que je peux comprendre, essayez de le voir comme un exercice de style, à la R Queneau.
Quant à l’avenir d’une PME avec notre nom qui j’en conviens peut sembler risible tellement il est droit au but et sans chichi, nous fêterons en avril notre 10eme année et l’entreprise reste toujours organisée autour d’un management et d’un cadre de travail progressiste, bienveillant et valorisant pour qui en fait partie. (l’effectif est de 10 personnes) Nous avons cette année quitté Paris pour le Var, avec nos salariés, pour une meilleure qualité de vie, nous payons une chiée d’impôts et nous embauchons, alors j’accueille cette moquerie sur notre nom de marque avec humour.
Lorsque viendra mon jugement dernier entrepreneurial, j’aime croire que je serai évalué sur le pan humain et pas seulement le résultat financier de notre « secte ».

Je suis tombé sur cet article ce matin. J’ai une écharpe mais j’avoue ne m’en être que très peu servi. Par contre je suis complétement affligé par le ton et le contenu de l’article : racoleur, démago … pathétique.
Sans doute une stratégie du Monde pour faire du buzz et se positionner politiquement; je ne vois pas d’autres explication à une telle médiocrité journalistique !

Merci pour ce bel article car oui, en tant que porteuse convaincue je me suis sentie blessée par l’article de Clara George.
Car oui, je suis fière de porter mes enfants mais parfois le regard désapprobateur d’inconnus que je croise me dérange et l’article du Monde qui se veut humoristique reflète les commentaires de ses inconnus.
De ce fait et sachant pourtant rire de beaucoup de choses, j’ai du mal à trouver Clara George drôle. Lui avait vous envoyé votre article?

J’utilise également des écharpes de portage mais l’article du Monde ne m’a pas offensée. J’ai même trouvé l’analyse assez pertinente. J’aime tout particulièrement le paragraphe « l’écharpe de portage est un humanisme ». Je le trouve très drôle, et même si le portage ne permet pas de définir pour qui on vote, on n’est pas loin de la réalité quand même!
